Isocitrate Dehydrogenase: Structure Of An Engineered Nadp+ --> Nad+ Specificity-Reversal
Mutant
Isocitrate Dehydrogenase S113e Mutant Complexed With Isopropylmalate, Nadp+ And
Magnesium (Flash-Cooled)
NAD and NADP. The images look identical until they are colored by chain. (Do this now.) Notice the differences in the secondary green and red chains. These are the different coenzymes used by each enzyme. These slight differences are what make NAD different from NADP.
Thanks to GenBank for the chime images.
