Current Academic Research
The main thrust of my research is to work at the interface between
molecular genetics and plant breeding, for the purpose of crop improvement. My
central research objectives currently involve a) applying transformation
technologies to horticultural crops, and b) studying new methods for the
transfer of high molecular weight DNA into plants.
