BIOLOGY 316 - BOTANY

Botany (BIO 316) is an introduction to the fundamentals of plant biology, taught by associate professor of Biology Dr. Pamela Hay. The course covers the anatomy, physiology, and development of plants with an emphasis on angiosperms. Students must learn the classification and identification of a number of species of the local flora. There is also a laboratory component to the course, meeting once per week. Students are required to complete a semester-long project in the field of Botany.
