Form: Herbaceous, annual, up to 30 cm.

Origins: Native

Identifying Features: Leaves are alternate, flowers are white and sometimes blue, with 3 petals and 2 sepals. The 2 sepals can be seen easily at the north end of the flower.

Trivial Facts: Also known as the Johny-Jump-Up and has wintergreen scented roots.
