NAD+ Coenzyme
Figure 1. 7 Alpha-Hydroxysteroid Dehydrogenase Complexed With Nad+. The molecule is from E. coli. Figure adapted from <http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/Structure/mmdb/mmdbsrv.cgi?form=6&db=t&Dopt=s&uid=4821>
If you select Colors, then Chain from the Chime options, ou will be able to see the different molecules found in this image. The dark blue and light blue larger structures are the two chains (A and B) of the alpha-hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase. The smaller green and yellow molecules are NAD+ coenzymes.
Isocitrate dehydrogenases with NAD+ as a coenzyme are IDH1 and IDH2
NADP+ Coenzyme
Figure 2. Isocitrate Dehydrogenase (E.C.1.1.1.42) Complex With NADP+. The molecule is from E. coli. Figure adapted from <http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/Structure/mmdb/mmdbsrv.cgi?form=6&db=t&Dopt=s&uid=3431>
If you select Colors, then Chain from the Chime options, ou will be able to see the different molecules found in this image. The dark blue structure is the isocitrate dehydrogenase. The smaller red molecule is the NADP+ coenzyme.
Isocitrate dehydrogenases with NADP+ as a coenzymes are IDP1, IDP2, and IDP3
