My Favorite Yeast Proteins
In this webpage I investigated the encoded proteins of my favorite yeast genes. I utilized various databases in order to determine the protein interactions, functions and localizations of the proteins encoded by the annotated yeast gene TKL1 and the non-annotated yeast gene LEE1. Using information from these databases I was able to verify the known function of hte TKL1 gene and collect further evidence for my hypothesis of the protien function for the non-annotated yeast gene LEE1.
